"Let That Go!"

As it is, I've called, but you've turned a deaf ear;  I've reached out to you, but you've ignored me.

The phone rings.  I hear it, but my family is just sitting down to dinner....


or I am in a conversation with a sweet friend who stopped by for a visit.  So, if you were here, you would hear me say, "Let that go....we'll call them back as soon as we're done." 
I wonder how many times I have done this to the Lord.  Hmmm....way more than I would like to confess....ouch.  My prayer today is that my heart would be so sensitive to Him that I would NEVER put the Lord on hold.....that I would never ignore His call or His extended hand.
