Guard Rails

Never walk away from Wisdom--she guards your life; love her--she keeps her eye on you.

We're discussing guard rails in our Sunday night church group.



We've been talking about how the guard rails on the highway serve to keep us from running completely off the road and having a serious accident.  We are exploring the different safety nets that we need to place in our lives to keep ourselves spiritually safe.  As I read this verse I recognize that we need to keep wisdom close at hand, as a guard rail of sorts for our life.  By doing this, we will stay on the safe path and not collide with major obstacles that can steal the abundant life that Christ has in mind for us.
Lord, thank you for the way you guard our lives.  May we never walk away from your gift of wisdom.
